Day 1
From Four Seasons Campers head north on the A82 up the west side of Loch Lomond. At Tarbet take the A83 towards Inverary and continue to Lochgilphead. Next, take the B841 towards Crinan then head north to Ardfern on the A816

- Lunch at The George Hotel, Inverary
- Visit Crinan and watch the yachts come through the Crinan Canal

Day 2
From Ardfern drive north onto the A816 to Oban. From Oban take the A85 and go over Connel bridge onto the A828. At Appin head west to Port Appin for lunch and a walk, then back to the A828 and onto the A82 at South Ballachulish towards Glencoe.
Things to see and do
- Watch the ferries go in and out of Oban Harbour
- Visit Macaigs Tower in Oban
- Lunch at The Pierhouse Hotel at Port Appin
- Take the little ferry over to the island of Lismore from Port Appin
- Walk around the headland at Port Appin
- Drive through Glencoe valley and stop for a walk at the Hidden Valley of Glencoe
- Dinner at Clachaig Inn (one mile from Red Squirrel Campsite Glencoe)

Day 3
From Glencoe head north up the A82 to Fort William. From Fort William head north to Invergarry then west along the A87 along Glen Sheil to Sheil Bridge then west along the Old Military Road to Glenelg where you can look over the sea to Skye. You can drive past Sheil Bridge to Dornie to the iconic Eilean Donan Castle for a detour.
Things to see and do
- Neptunes Staircase is a series of canal locks that link the Caledonian Canal to the open sea and is well worth a visit. At this time of year you should spot some beautiful Scandinavian yachts coming through the canal on their way to the beautiful West Coast and Inner Hebrides.
- Visit Eilean Donan Castle at Dornie just north of Sheil Bridge
- Eat at the fantastic Glenelg Inn – lively welcoming atmosphere
- Visit the Glenelg Brochs – Dun Telve and Dun Trodden)

Day 4
From Glenelg take the little ferry over to Skye and either do a day tour right around the island or head over to the ferry at Armadale on south side of the island. Take the ferry from Armadale to Mallaig then drive south to the beautiful white beaches of Arisaig.

- Portree for fish and chips

Day 5
From Arisaig head down the A830 to Fort William then the A82 north to Spean Bridge and then the A86 to Laggan then A9 north to Aviemore in Cairngorm National Park.

- Glenfinnan Monument erected in memory of Jacobite rising and men who fought for Prince Charlie’s cause and the Glenfinnan Viaduct – a great engineering construction
- Jacobite West Highland Line made famous in the Harry Potter films by Hogwarts Express
- Enjoy watersports at Loch Morlich
- Walk around Loch an Eilein
- Go up the Furnicular mountain railway up Cairngorm mountain

Time to Travel Arisaig to Aviemore 2 hours 30 mins
Day 6
Head south down the A9 through Pitlochry and Dunkeld and take the A822 through the small glen to Crieff. From Crieff take the A85 along Loch Earn then head south down the A84. At Callandar turn onto the A81 and follow the road past Lake of Menteith until you reach the A811. Head west into Drymen then take the B837 to Balmaha.

- Visit Blair Atholl Castle
- Wander around Pitlochry
- Visit the theatre in Pitlochry – matinees and evening events all summer
- Visit Dunkeld and walk along the river or visit The Hermitage for woodland walk
- Visit Crieff
- Eat at The Oak Tree Inn by Balmaha on Loch Lomond
- Alternatively eat at Mhor 84 at Strathyre if camping there
