Our dog friendly campervans are perfect for taking your gorgeous dogs on holiday with you. With all that Scottish fresh air, Scotland’s quiet beaches and fun mountain trails, how could you bear to leave them at home?
We are proud to say that we offer the most dog friendly campervan hire in Scotland with over 80% of our campervan fleet dog friendly campervans!
Add your best friend onto your booking
We LOVE our best friends and wouldn’t dream of heading off into the hills and beaches of Scotland without them!
All we ask is that you do not leave your dogs unattended in the campervan.
We have a small additional cleaning charge for up to two dogs of £35 to allow us extra time to clean your campervan after your hire.
If you have more than one dog, please contact us in advance as some larger dogs may not be suitable for the size of the campervan.
Where can I take my dogs on my campervan road trip?
Most campsites will be happy for you to bring well behaved dogs with you and may have an extra charge for this.
Generally they will ask that you keep dogs on a lead at all times and that you dispose of dog poo in the appropriate places.
We love touring with our dogs but we also love having the occasional night off cooking which is why we have compiled a list of great dog friendly pubs for you.
Do you know of any great walks in Scotland for our dog on our campervan road trip?
Our dogs love the space they get when travelling in one of our campervans but also love the outdoor life it creates on their travels!
We have a number of great walks that we like to do – from long all day hill walks with stunning views that will wear them out – to forest walks past lochans and castles.
How do I restrain my dog when travelling in one of your Dog Friendly Campervans?
By law, dogs must now be safely restrained when travelling.
- The VW California Ocean campervans have isofix fittings for you to clip your dog into using an isofix restrainer. Simply clip this onto your dogs harness.
- Our VW California Ocean campervans also have the benefit of the rear seat moving forward to enable your pet to feel secure in a smaller space on the floor
- Alternatively you can put your pet in the rear of our VW California Ocean campervan by lifting up the base shelf (which is the base of the bed) and putting their crate or bed in the boot space.
Pet Free Campervans
All of our campervans are dog friendly with the exception of ‘FIN’, ‘HAMISH’ and ‘TARA’ who our 2023/24 California Ocean PET FREE Campervans. Our campervans are meticulously cleaned after each hire but if you have a pet allergy we recommend you book one of our PET FREE campervans.
