Located 2 miles south of Loch Lomond in the beautiful Loch Lomond National Park, just 25 minutes drive from Glasgow Airport, and just 75 minutes drive from Edinburgh Airport,  Four Seasons Campers offers easy access onto the A82 for your campervan pick-up tour through Glencoe and onto Fort William and beyond.  Whether you are coming by public transport (bus or train to Balloch by Loch Lomond, airplane to an international airport, or travelling by car) our premises are ideally situated for your campervan pick up.

 Glasgow Airport and Edinburgh Airport Campervan Pick Up

Thinking of taking advantage of cheap flights to Glasgow and Edinburgh and hiring a campervan? We are perfectly located for your campervan pick up and only 25 minutes drive from Glasgow airport and 75 minutes drive from Edinburgh airport and offer campervan pick up and transfer services at the start of your campervan holiday.  To make things easier for you we can do the handover at the airport if you are coming into Edinburgh and Edinburgh airport to let you get on your road trip straight away.  If you are landing at Glasgow airport then we will take the stress out of negotiating the motorways at the beginning of your road trip and pick you up and transfer you to our base by Loch Lomond where we will do the handover.  You can then pick up your groceries in Balloch or Fort William and set off on your adventure!

Directions to Four Seasons Campers for your campervan pick up

Directions from South (via Glasgow) for campervan pick up

  1. M6 & M74 & M73 & M8 West for Glasgow
  2. M8 Junction 30 Erskine Bridge (M898)
  3. Exit M898 Left Dumbarton A82
  4. Stay on A82 (dual – carriageway) to Balloch
  5. At “Stoney Mollan” Roundabout take third exit and head into Balloch
  6. In Balloch at first roundabout take second exit A811 to Stirling
  7. Pass through traffic lights to next roundabout and take second exit A811 to Stirling
  8. Travel for approx. 3 miles to Gartocharn and go past school on the left then before the traffic lights turn right up School Road to T junction
  9. At T junction turn left following cycle route 7 for approx. and continue  ½ mile past the little blue cottage on the left
  10. Pass junction on left (there is a road to the left to Croftamie) continue straight ahead and continue up the hill until you reach cross roads with Merkins Farm straight ahead and Jamestown sign posted to the right. Take a left turn here.
  11. Gallangad Lodge is approximately 200 metres on the left hand side.

Directions from North (via Stirling) for campervan pick up

  1. From North take A9 to Stirling and head into town
  2. From here take the A811 towards Balloch and Loch Lomond
  3. Stay on the A811 and pass Gargunnock, Kippen, Bucylyvie and Drymen until your reach Gartocharn
  4. Pass The House of Darroch coffee house and shop and turn left directly after the traffic lights up School Road
  5. At T junction turn left following cycle route 7 for approx. and continue  ½ mile past the little blue cottage on the left
  6. Pass junction on left (there is a road to the left to Croftamie)  continue straight ahead and continue up the hill until you reach cross roads with Merkins Farm straight ahead and Jamestown sign posted to the right.  Take a left turn here.
  7. Gallangad Lodge is approximately 200 metres on the left hand side.

Directions from North (Loch Lomond A82)campervan pick up

  1. Drive down A82 with Loch Lomond to your East (left side) until you reach the “Stoney Mollan” roundabout at Balloch.
  2. At “Stoney Mollan” Roundabout take first exit and head into Balloch
  3. In Balloch at first roundabout take second exit A811 to Stirling
  4. Pass through traffic lights to next roundabout and take second exit A811 to Stirling
  5. Travel for approx. 3 miles to Gartocharn and before traffic lights turn right up School Road to T junction

Directions by Train for campervan pick up

  1. From Glasgow’s Queen Street Station take the Balloch Train from the Lower Level service. We will meet you in the ticket office at Balloch station

Directions by Air for campervan pick up

  1. Please call us upon landing and we will meet you in the Arrivals area at the airport with a sign showing your name and Four Seasons Campers
  2. We can then either do the handover of the vehicle in the Airport short stay car park or alternatively, if you are heading north, we will pick you up and hand over at Gallangad Lodge which is located 2 miles south of Loch Lomond and is approximately 30 minutes from the airport.

Directions from Glasgow on Drymen Road A809 for campervan pick up

  1. From Bearsden take the A809 towards Drymen and follow through Carbeth and on to Croftamie
  2. As you enter Croftamie, turn left at post box
  3. Continue for ½ mile until you reach a fork in the road at “TullyCross”. Take the left fork which passes by a farm on your left
  4. Continue on this road for 1.7ml (following the route 7 cycle signs to Balloch)
  5. Turn left at Caldarvan Station and continue until you reach the T junction
  6. At Auchenlarich House, turn left
  7. Continue up the hill until you reach cross roads with Merkins Farm straight ahead and Jamestown sign posted to the right. Take a left turn here.
  8. Gallangad Lodge is approximately 200 metres on the left hand side.
