Day 1
From Four Seasons Campers head north on the A82 towards Glencoe and onto Fort William. Continue past Neptunes Staircase on the A830 towards Arisaig and Mallaig. The road runs parallel to the Jacobite Steam train railway line made famous in Harry Potter as the route the Hogwarts Express took. Turn off the A830 at Arisaig where there are an abundance of campsites and beautiful beaches that look towards the Inner Hebridean Islands of Eigg and Rhum.

- Stop at pretty village of Luss on Loch Lomond
- Get last minute suppliers at Green Welly Stop at Tyndrum
- Enjoy ‘healthy’ fish and chips from The Real Food Café in Tyndrum
- Stretch your legs along part of the West Highland Way at Bridge of Orchy and enjoy some great pub food at The Bridge of Orchy Hotel
- Supermarkets at Fort William at roundabout on seafront
- Neptunes Staircase is a series of canal locks that link the Caledonian Canal to the open sea and is well worth a visit. At this time of year you should spot some beautiful Scandinavian yachts coming through the canal on their way to the beautiful West Coast and Inner Hebrides.
- Glenfinnan Monument erected in memory of Jacobite rising and men who fought for Prince Charlie’s cause and the Glenfinnan Viaduct – a great engineering construction
- Jacobite West Highland Line made famous in the Harry Potter films by Hogwarts Express
- Stop at Loch Leven Seafood Café Stop https://www.lochlevenseafoodcafe.co.uk/ for seafood (highly recommended by other customers!) by Ballahulish Bridge

Day 2
Take the ferry from Mallaig to Lochboisdale.
Things to do:
- Eat at Polochar Hotel Restaurant – great scallops
- Visit beach at Askernish golf club
- Have a wee dram and visit the North Uist Distillery. We loved their Downpur Gin – bursting with botanicals, you can really taste the wild Hebridean heather!
- Visit Kildonan museum and swot up your history knowledge about Bonnie Prince Charlie

Time to Travel Mallaig to Lochboisdale 3 hours and 30 mins
Day 3
Travel north to North Uist
Things to do:
- Wee Cottage Kitchen
- Shoreline Stoneware
- Hercules bear statue and small stnding sontes near Langass
- Try the spectacularly delicous hot smoked salmon at the Hebridean Smokehouse!

Time to Travel South Uist to North Uist 1 hour 6 mins
Day 4
Travel north to Harris
Things to do:
- Walk wild on West Beach, Berneray
- Harris Tweed shop – Tarbert
- Visit famous Scarista Beach
- Niseabouist beach with stunning views across the Sound of Taransa.

Time to Travel North Uist to Talla Na Mara 2 hours 38 minutes (including ferry)
Day 5
Travel north around the west coast to Hushinish
Things to do:

Time to travel Talla na Mara to Huisinis (1 hour)
Day 6
Meander north through Tarbert into Lewis and head west through Achmore and Kinlochroag then north to Kneep to the stunning beaches beside Traigh na Beirigh campsite.

Day 7
Take the ferry from Stornoway to Ullapool then drive south to Inverness and continue down the A9 to Dunkeld
Things to do
- Museum nan Eilean – in Lews Castle – home to some of the Lewis Chessmen- Stornoway
- Blue Pig Studio – Callaway, Lewis
- Enjoy lunch at the Ceilidh Place Ullapool
- Eat the well known fish and chips from the chippy at Ullapool or try out the Seafood Shack up the road on Argyll Street
- Stop at House of Bruar for food or clothes/gift shopping
- Enjoy live music in the little pubs in Dunkeld
- Walk by the river at Dunkeld and watch the fishermen
- Walk among the gigantic trees at The Hermitage just off A9 before Dunkeld
