Day 1
From Four Seasons Campers head north on the A82 towards Glencoe. From here continue towards Fort William and past Neptunes Staircase on the A830 towards Arisaig and Mallaig. The road runs parallel to the Jacobite Steam train railway line made famous in Harry Potter, as the route the Hogwarts Express took. Turn off the A830 at Arisaig where there are an abundance of campsites and beautiful beaches that look towards the Inner Hebridean Islands of Eigg and Rhum
Things to do
- Stop at the pretty village of Luss on Loch Lomond
- Get last minute supplies at Green Welly Stop in Tyndrum
- Enjoy ‘healthy’ fish and chips from The Real Food Café in Tyndrum
- Stretch your legs along part of the West Highland Way at Bridge of Orchy and enjoy some great pub food at The Bridge of Orchy Hotel
- Neptunes Staircase is a series of canal locks that link the Caledonian Canal to the open sea and is well worth a visit.
- Glenfinnan Monument erected in memory of the Jacobite rising and the men who fought for Prince Charlie’s cause
- Glenfinnan Viaduct – a great engineering construction
- Stop at Loch Leven Seafood Café Stop – https://www.lochlevenseafoodcafe.co.uk/ – for seafood (highly recommended by other customers!) by Ballahulish Bridge for amazing oysters, scallops and langoustines
- Beautiful beaches around Arisaig including Camasdarroch made famous in the film ‘Local Hero’ and ‘the silver sands of Morar.’
- Visit Fishing Village at Mallaig and enjoy fish and chips or seafood

Day 2 – Mull
From Arisaig head south to Lochailort and take the A861 to Ardnamurchan. Take the short ferry from Kilchoan to Tobermory on Mull (you can just go as a passenger).

- Look out for wild life – otters and sea eagles on Mull

Drive Time:
Arisaig to Tobermory 2 hours 45 mins (including ferry)
Day 3 – Ardnamurchan
Take the ferry back to Ardnamurchan and visit Sanna Bay. After this, head east towards Resipole on the Ardnamurchan peninsula

Day 4
Drive west to Coran and take the Coran ferry across to the A82 then head south to Glencoe.
