This incredible 3 night campervan tour takes in one of Scotland’s most accessible wildernesses into the Ardnamurchan peninsula and the most westerly point of the United Kingdom
Enjoy the mountains of Glencoe as well as the stunning beaches of Arisaig and Sanna Bay. Ardnamurchan can also be reached via the island of Mull with a ferry from Tobermory to Kilchoan, or via the Coran ferry between Glencoe and Fort William.
Day 1
Tour Route: From Four Seasons Campers (Loch Lomond Base) head north on A82 towards Glencoe. From here continue along the A82 towards Fort William and continue past Neptunes Staircase on the A830 towards Arisaig and Mallaig. The road runs parallel to the Jacobite Steam train railway line made famous in Harry Potter as the route the Hogwarts Express took. Turn off the A830 at Arisaig where there are an abundance of campsites and beautiful beaches that look towards the Inner Hebridean Islands of Eigg and Rhum
Things to see and do:
Stop at pretty village of Luss on Loch Lomond
• Enjoy ‘healthy’ fish and chips from The Real Food Café in Tyndrum
• Neptunes Staircase -series of canal locks that link the Caledonian Canal to the open sea and is well worth a visit. Watch Scandinavian yachts passing o the beautiful West Coast and Inner Hebrides.
• Glenfinnan Monument erected in memory of Jacobite rising and men who fought for Prince Charlie’s cause and the Glenfinnan Viaduct – a great engineering construction
• Jacobite West Highland Line made famous in the Harry Potter films by Hogwarts Express• Stop at Loch Leven Seafood Cafe by Ballahulish Bridge for amazing oysters, scallops and langoustines
• Beautiful beaches around Arisaig including Camasdarroch made famous in film ‘Local Hero’ and ‘the silver sands of Morar
• Visit fishing village at Mallaig and enjoy fish and chips or seafood

Day 2
Tour Route: From Arisaig continue onto the fishing port of Mallaig then head south to Lochailort and take the A861 to Ardnamurchan . Either visit the beach at Sanna and/or take the short ferry from Kilchoan to Tobermory on Mull (you can just go as a passenger) then return and head west towards Resipole on Ardnamurchan peninsula

Day 3
Tour Route: Drive west to Coran and take the Coran ferry across to the A82 then head south to Glencoe.
